Is this a moisturizer or a sunscreen?
Both. Ceramides and niacinamide support your skin's moisture barrier, and three UV filters (avobenzone, octisalate and zinc oxide) give you broad spectrum SPF 30. You skip layering two products in the morning.
Will it leave a white cast?
No. The zinc oxide is coated and goes on invisible on all skin tones. The formula absorbs in under 60 seconds.
Do I need to reapply during the day?
Put it on every morning as your last step. When you’re outside, reapply at least every two hours. It’s water resistant for 40 minutes, so reapply after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating and right after you towel off.
Does it have a scent?
A little. There's a light cedarwood and vetiver note from natural oils that settles within a few minutes of putting it on. No synthetic fragrance, and nothing added just to perfume or mask. The scent comes from oils that condition your skin, not a fragrance layer on top.
