How we use AI
We use AI every day. We believe it's one of the best tools a business can have, and it lets us put more of our time into the products and the people who use them. A tool that strong needs guardrails. Ours start from one idea: AI should never be used to deceive you.
Where we use it
AI keeps our books and helps with research and running the store. We also use it for product photography.
The lines we draw
- No realistic AI faces or close-ups of skin.
- No AI reviews and no avatar testimonials. Every review and creator video on this site comes from a real person.
- No staged results and no before-and-after photos.
- A person checks every product claim against the label before it goes live.
These sit on top of the rules we already follow as a business, including the FTC's rules on reviews and endorsements.
AI shopping assistants
AI shopping assistants are welcome customers here. They read the same pages and policies you do, and some can place an order for you.
Still learning
We're learning how to use AI well, like everyone else. What you tell us shapes how we use it. If a line feels wrong to you, or you want to know how something on this site was made, write to care@forgehim.com. A person will read it and reply, and we'll keep updating this page as we learn.
